Auschwitz Institute Featured in New Report on Global Efforts to Prevent Mass Atrocities

New York, September 26, 2012 – A new report highlighting organizations around the world that work to prevent mass atrocities describes the Auschwitz Institute as “creating a community of leaders committed to the prevention of genocide.”

“Voices from Civil Society: Global Efforts to Prevent Mass Atrocities,” published by the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP), offers a profile of “27 organizations working to consolidate support and understanding of the [ Responsibility to Protect ], build capacity of global and regional institutions to prevent atrocities, and alert and influence policymakers at all levels to save lives in at-risk situations.”

The Auschwitz Institute has been a member of the ICRtoP since 2011.
